SUMMER IN THE SWIMMING POOLS

With the outdoor pools, the best of summer happens in Rio Maior. 

The entire leisure area is now open to the public for another great bathing season, with everything you need for a few enjoyable days in the company of friends and family.

Holidaymakers once again have access to the various bodies of water, from the pool for the little ones to the diving pool for diving. The lawn, the bar, the terrace and the large lawns are once again ready for the best leisure time, with a new feature this year: a new rental area for pergolas and sun loungers, designed to provide even more comfort and shade during your moments of rest.

This year we also have a sand area again, for traditional beach games such as football, volleyball and racket games.

The bathing season will run seven days a week, between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm, with the ticket office open from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. There are special admission conditions for school groups and holiday camps.

We would also like to remind you that the Portuguese Swimming Federation has awarded the Rio Maior Swimming Pool Complex the Portugal a Nadar Seguro Quality Seal, which recognises compliance with all the hygiene and safety requirements and practices defined by the General Directorate of Health for the use of swimming pools. The Quality Seal was awarded to the entire Swimming Pool Complex, which includes the outdoor pools. This recognition is the result of our commitment to implementing the most stringent rules and practices in terms of hygiene, safety and water treatment.
