The Rio Maior Multisports Hall with a 2000 seated spectators capacity has excelent conditions for all indoor sports. Handball, Badmington, Basketball, Futsal, Volleyball and Combat Sports are it's normal uses.
Of solid build this facility was remodeled in 2003 to receive games of that year's Men's Handball World Championship. For that it has excellent technical conditions for sports practice and for TV broadcasting.
