ÁGUIAS ALPIARÇA SHINE AT HOME

On 24th March held in Alpiarça the first round of the Portugal Triathlon Championship 2013. The team Águias Alpiarça achieve excellent results after the  Duathlon in Rio Maior, on the last Sunday. This was a competitive race that provided moments of great spectacle, with much public supporting  the home team, that made some training camps in the Rio Maior Sports Centre.

 In the women's competition was the brazilian Pâmella Oliveira athlete's "Project Rio Maior 2016", which won, showing that he is in excellent condition, after triumphs in Amora and Rio Maior. In second place was Louisa Condeç from Águias de Alpiarça. In men's competition, João Silva from Sport Lisboa e Benfica, was ranked first, followed by Filipe Azevedo, Sporting Clube de Portugal, and Bruno Matheus also athlete of the "Project Rio Maior 2016" representing Águias de Alpiarça.

Collectively, in women, Águias de Alpiarça was the winner, while Sport Lisboa e Benfica won in men. Many of the youth who constitute the team's àguias Alpiarça also performed tests good level.

This competition was the culmination of several days of training in the Rio Maior Sports Centre.
