AT THE RIO MAIOR SPORTS CENTER, WE ARE COMMITTED TO RECEIVING ALL OUR ATHLETES WITH MAXIMUM SECURITY

At the Rio Maior Sports Center, we are committed to receiving all our athletes with maximum security and complying with all the rules of the General Directorate of Health (DGS).
Our team changed and adapted the operating rules and procedures, with the aim of strengthening the relationship of trust and purpose with our customers, basing our performance on four strategic vectors:

- Train and circulate safely and in compliance with the distance and number of users rules for each installation;

- Safe accommodation and meals in compliance with the rules established for hotels and restaurants;

- Personal protection equipment and reinforcement of information to customers through the creation of a coherent and appealing graphics that reinforces hygiene and safety messages;

- Norms for cleaning and disinfecting our facilities in compliance with the DGS standards.

1. Train and circulate safely:

1.1. We comply with all the rules and guidelines of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, the Sports Federations and the General Directorate of Health regarding adapted training plans, risk assessment and mitigation measures;
1.2. We have limited the use of sports facilities. The high performance training groups train at different times, with rules and rules adapted to each modality;
1.3. The use of changing rooms is not allowed;
1.4. In the remaining discovered facilities, only 5 athletes and 1 trainer can be trained simultaneously;
1.5. Medical, massage and physiotherapy services are provided by appointment and in compliance with all safety rules;
1.6. We privilege teleconsultations whenever possible;
1.7. All service areas are properly protected;
1.8. We put in place a digital platform for reserves of the tennis courts and paper called desmor.sportstudio.pt.
1.9. We created distance and safety signs and circuits for entering and exiting the facilities.

2. Safe accommodation and meals

2.1. We limited the occupancy rate of the Internship Center, with a maximum of 2 athletes per room being allowed;
2.2. We reduced the capacity of our restaurant and changed the rules in the bar area;
2.3. We replaced the buffet service with a personalized service and respecting the rules for catering;
2.4. We created different meal times for each training group;
2.5. We disinfect restaurant tables and chairs and change towels after each use;
2.6. We conditioned the use of leisure areas;
2.7. We temporarily closed the Gyms and Spa's;
2.8. We adjusted and reinforced the cleaning and disinfection operations of the rooms;
2.9. We adapted the laundry and laundry circuits.

3. Personal protective equipment and reinforcement of customer information

3.1. Athletes must wear a mask or visor in all of our facilities;
3.2. Our workers are equipped with a protective mask or visor;
3.3. Our cleaning service workers are equipped with a protective mask or visor, smocks and gloves;
3.4. We provide temperature measurement to all workers and athletes using proximity thermometers;
3.5. We reinforced the signs on health and safety rules and traffic restrictions.

4. Cleaning and disinfection rules

4.1. We provide disinfectant gel in all installations;
4.2. We developed new cleaning plans reinforcing the cleaning of surfaces and contact areas adjusted to each sports installation and practice;
4.3. We provide all workers with specific training appropriate to their facilities and tasks;
4.4. We regularly protect and disinfect payment terminals.
