CEO OF SWEDISH SPORTS CONFEDERATION VISITED RIO MAIOR

Peter Mattsson the director of Sport at Swedish Sports Confederation visited on March, 23 2016, the Desmor – Rio Maior Sports Centre and the University of Sports.

This visit was promoted by the Portugal Sports Foundation who was the responsibility of the international promotion of the Portugal High Sports Centers.

After meeting our Sports Center, Peter Mattson declared: “Today i haven been schown around the excellent facilities of the Desmor – Rio Maior Sports Centre and i´m very impressed, I have to say that it´s not easy to run a high performance facility prepared to host so many sports, but I think what I have seen were is a facility that is excellent for a large number of sports. And I think that is evidenced by the big number of Olympic athletes and teams that place their preparation to the Olympics were, not to mention our own team, the Swedish teams that will be were this summer. So I very much enjoyed the tour around what I think is an excellent facility!”
