HAMMER AND JAVELIN THROW REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
On Saturday, February 18, held in Rio Maior the Hammer and javelin throw Regional Championships. The Javelin Trow Javelin competition held at Municipal Stadium and hammer throw was held on the field, near the Municipal Swimming Pools.
Have participated in this competition more than 65 athlete from the district of Santarém.
The junior Michael Fonseca broke the hammer regional record (6kgs), with the distance of 54m70.
This competition was organized by the Athletics Association of Santarém.
