NEW BEGINNING IN U 20

Between 28 and 30 November ´11 the Portugal national under-20 football were once again in Rio Maior Sports Centre. This was the firts training camp after the FIFA U-20 World Cup Colombia 2011.

In the last month of august Portugal made an exeptional youth tournament in Colombia. They only lost the final against Brazil. The coach Ilídio Vale, took the Portuguese team into their first final in the competition in 20 years.

Now Ilídio Vale is starting a new u-20 era with new players, looking out for the future.

The players for the first training camp after the participation in tho world cup were:

Benfica: Luís Martins e Rúben Pinto;

CD Fátima: William;

CD Trofense: David Bruno e Edú;

Chelsea FC: Kaby;

FC Barcelona: Luís Gustavo;

FC Brasov: Hugo Sousa;

FC Penafiel: Aldair e Paulo Sousa;

GD Chaves: Josué;

Gil Vicente FC: Tó Barbosa;
