PORTUGAL IN THE AFC WOMEN’S FUTSAL CHAMPIONSHIP

After a six-day training camp in the Desmor- Rio Maior Sports Centre the Portugal National Women´s Futsal Team arrived yesterday to Guatemala for the 2015 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship.

The Portugal team will face Iran on Tuesday in Guatemala City. In the Group A Portugal will play against Iran, Brazil and Costa Rica while Group B consists of Guatemala, Spain, Russia and Japan.

The 2015 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship will be the sixth edition of the Women’s Futsal World Tournament.

Portugal is a top candidate after three second places in previous editions of the Championship.
