PORTUGAL NATIONAL JUDO IN A TRAINING CAMP

The best Portugal National judokas were in Rio Maior between 20 and 22 December in important training camp for the new season.

Over three days, they were more than 50, male and female, in a city where judo has great tradition and history. Several athletes from Rio Maior like Yahima Ramirez , Luis Lopes , Miguel Louro, Margarida Fonseca and Julio Moura, also participated in this training camp.

All this preparation was scheduled in view of the new international season in 2014. The juniors are in preparation for the National Championship in the beginning of the new year.

The three days in Rio Maior took place under the guidance of  Rui Vieira the National Technical Director and  Ana Hormigo the National Women´s Coach. During their stay, the delegation was housed at the Sports Centre and made the training sessions in the sports Combat  Rooms.  Rui Vieira declared that the “athletes found in Rio Maior excellent conditions for training camps in Rio Maior”.
