PORTUGAL PLAYS IN RIO MAIOR

The Portugal Futsal National Team already is Antuerpia, Belgium, for the UEFA Futsal Euro 2014. On last Friday, January 24th, Portugal played against Turkey in a unofficial game in the Rio Maior Multisports Hall. More than 2000 people supported the team in a thrilling game which ended with a 6 – 1 score.

This meeting was part of an important training camp in Rio Maior before the UEFA European Futsal Championship.  The UEFA Futsal Euro 2014 will be the ninth official edition of the UEFA European Championship for men's national futsal teams. The final round of the tournament will be hosted in Belgium, from 28 January to 8 February 2014. Matches will be played in two venues in Antwerp, the 2013 European Capital of Sport.
