RAFAEL SILVA WINS PORTUGAL FUTURE CYCLING COMPETITION

Between 5 and 9 September Rio Maior held the 20th Portugal Future Cycling Tour. This is the most important cycling competition in Portugal for u 23 athletes. 

Rio Maior was one of the cities with an arrival and departure. The competition started on September 5th in Águeda, bound for Oliveira do Bairro - followed Oliveira do Bairro - Marinha Grande (6 Sep.), Pombal - Sertã (7 Sep.), Sertã - Rio Maior  (8 Sep.) and Rio Maior - Carvoeira (9 Sep.).

On September 8th, the stage finished in Rio Maior and in the next day the 5th stage started also in Rio Maior.

Desmor EEM was one of the entities that support this organization, in charge of Lagos Premium Events.

During the competition some teams were housed in the Rio Maior Sports Centre.
