THE RUSSIAN BEACH SOCCER CHAMPIONS WERE IN RIO MAIOR

Between 23 May and 5 June the national champion of beach soccer of Russia, BSC Kristall was at the Desmor Rio Maior Sports Centre. This team from the city of St. Petersburg played a friendly match against the Portuguese team, ACD Sotão da Nazaré on 25 May in Rio Maior.

On 26 May, BSC Kristall had its first game at the Euro Winners’ Cup, a competition where the best teams from Europe participated on the beach of Nazaré until 4 June.

In fact, this important international competition was usually held in Italy, this being the first time that Portugal was the host country, with 36 men's and women's teams.
