U21 ONE WEEK IN RIO MAIOR

The Rio Maior Sports Centre welcomes this week the Portugal National Under-21 Football Team  in another important training camp. The delegation arrived on Monday October 7th in view of the next qualifying matches for the European Championship to be held in the Czech Republic in 2015 .

The team will play against Israel on October 10th, before the visit to Baku, where they will play on the 15th of October, before Azerbaijan .

Miguel Rodrigues, Tiago Llori and Bruma were called to u21 by the first time but the last ones already know very well the Rio Maior Sports Complex, where they played all season before in the Sporting B team.

 he 23 players called by the national coach by Rui Jorge were:

Goalkeepers: Daniel Fernandes (VFL Osnabruck), José Sá (Maritimo) Luís Ribeiro (Sporting) ;

Defenders: Josué (Vitória SC), João Amorim (Vitória SC), Luís Martins (Gil Vicente FC), Miguel Rodrigues (CD Nacional), Paulo Oliveira (Vitória SC), Rafael Guerreiro ( FC Lorient ) and Tiago Ilori (Liverpool FC) .

Middle: André Gomes (Benfica), Tó Zé (FC Porto), João Mário (Sporting), Luis Gustavo (Rio Ave FC), Rafa (Sporting Braga), Sérgio Oliveira (FC Paços Ferreira), Tiago Silva (Belenenses) and William (Sporting);

Strikers: Betinho (Sporting), Bruma (Galatasaray), Ivan Cavaleiro (Benfica), Ricardo Pereira (FC Porto) and Esgaio (Sporting) .
