Desmor, EM, SA, is a public capital company, funded by the Rio Maior municipality with the sole purpose of promoting and managing sports and sports equipments. It has the mission to ensure that all of the equipments belonging to the Rio Maior Sports Centre are properly managed and mantained.
The company, with its head office at the Rio Maior Sports Centre, was founded in 2000 and employs 80 persons, managed by a Board Of Directors appointed by the Rio Maior municipality.
It currently Manages the following facilities:
- Rio Maior Sports Centre
- Olympic Swimming Pool Complex
- Municipal Stadium
- Three Football training fields, one with syntethic turf
- Sports Park
- Beach Soccer and Volleyball Field
- Two Multisports Hall's
- Multipurpose Hall
- Tennis and Padel Courts
- Tree Climbing and Street Workout Park
- Multi-purpose Combat Sports Rooms
