PRESCHOOL AND PRIMARY SCHOOL SWIMMING SEASON WITH MORE STUDENTS AND CLASSES

There are 3 more classes and 131 additional students compared to 2023/2024. This school year, 1,331 students, organized into 64 classes from public schools in the municipality, are participating in a total of 298 lessons (5 lessons per class), all overseen by the instructors from the Rio Maior Swimming School.

For several years, the Preschool and Primary School Swimming Project in Rio Maior has provided young children with their first contact with swimming pools, helping them start and adapt to the aquatic environment.

To attend each lesson during school hours, transportation is provided by municipal services, and the students are accompanied by their class teacher.

After completing Primary School, parents and guardians may choose to continue offering swimming lessons to their children through the wide range of services available at the Rio Maior Swimming School.
