HEALTH PROTOCOL FOR ATHLETES

CUF and the Rio maior Sporst CEntre have signed a cooperation agreement, ensuring that athletes training at the Rio Maior Sports Centre have access to healthcare services at CUF hospitals and clinics. The agreement was formalized this Tuesday, April 30th, at the Rio Maior Training Center.

Through this protocol with RMSC - the municipal public company of the Municipality of Rio Maior that manages the Rio Maior Sports Centre - CUF undertakes to ensure, whenever necessary, the rapid access of these athletes to differentiated and high-quality healthcare, provided by highly specialized multidisciplinary teams, using state-of-the-art equipment, throughout the CUF network.

According to Catarina Gouveia, Executive Administrator of CUF, "We are very pleased to celebrate this protocol today, which reflects CUF's commitment to improving the health and performance of high-performance athletes, and is also an opportunity to strengthen our relationship with a reference entity in sports, promoting the development of the Santarém region."

Miguel Pacheco, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the RMSC, shares that through this protocol, "We reinforce the commitment to excellence for the athletes and teams who trust in the services of the RMSC and its Training Center, and who, through this cooperation with CUF, benefit from prompt service and access to reference health services - determining factors, both in terms of time and quality, for the intensive, demanding, and comprehensive preparation of an athlete."
