OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS WON IN RIO MAIOR

The Russians, Olga Kaniskina and Valeriy Borchin, won the  20th Race Walking International Grand Prix in Rio Maior / 9th IAAF Challenge. Both are Olympic and World Champions. The russian Stalislav Emerlyanov and the mexican Eder Sanchez completed the male podium.

The spanish Beatriz Pascual was second and the portuguese Vera Santos was thirth. The following places were also athletes from Rio Maior, with Susana Feitor fourth and fifth Inês Henriques.

In men, Joao Vieira finished in tenth place, and  his brother Sérgio Vieira, was 12nd.
