ON THE WAY TO THE WORLD TOURNAMENT

The Portugal Women´s National Futsal Team will stay in the Rio Maior Sports Centre for 3 weeks training to prepare for the World Tournament to be held between 14 and 20 December in Spain.

After a brilliant second place in the third edition of the tournament, the National Team will compete this time in Spain, which organizes the tournament for the second time.

During this period the national team will make three training games against Portuguese teams in the Multisports Hall.

During the international tournament the National Team will play against Costa Rica (December 14), Japan (December 15) and Spain (December 16) in group A. Brazil, Russia, Ukraine and Iran complete the group B of the competition. In the past three editions, Portugal has always been on the podium in the competition: Second in 2010 (Spain) and 2012 (Portugal), and a third place in 2011 (Brazil).
