RIO MAIOR RACE WALKER CHAMPIONS

The race walker João Vieira is again National Champion in the 20 kms distance. This athlete, natural from Rio Maior, won the National Championships held in Quarteira on last weekend (1st February).

In the same race his brother, Sérgio Vieira, was second classified while Pedro Isidro was third.

In women's competition, the athletes from Rio Maior also scored good results with  Vera Santos, Inês Henriques and Susana Feitor classified on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.

There are new values in the race walker competitions like Miguel Carvalho (u23), Miguel Rodrigues (junior) and Hirondina (infant) winners in their age group.
