THE PORTUGUESE SOCIETY OF SPORTS MEDICINE IN RIO MAIOR FOR THE POSTGRADUATE COURSE IN SPORTS MEDICINE

The Portuguese Society of Sports Medicine (SPMD) chose the Rio Maior Sports Centre for the second consecutive year to host a practical session as part of the 22nd Postgraduate Course in Sports Medicine.

The session, held on May 3rd and aimed at doctors enrolled in the Postgraduate program, made use of several facilities available at the Rio Maior Training Centre, namely: the Albino Maria Auditorium, with around 100 seats, and the Physiotherapy Rooms.

The Chairman of the Board of Desmor, Miguel Pacheco, expressed his gratitude for SPMD's trust and wished great success for the initiative.

SPMD is a Scientific Society dedicated to promoting knowledge in Sports and Exercise Medicine. With this objective in mind, it regularly organizes Postgraduate Courses to ensure that future postgraduate doctors are capable of practicing in this medical field with ethics and safety, particularly in diagnosis and sports-related medical decision-making.
